This past weekend the Alzheimer Society of KFL&A held a silent auction in conjunction with a pickle ball tournament.
myFM spoke with Lesley Kimble, Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator, who gave us a bit of a recap.
This past weekend they raised just shy of $7500. Kimble told us about where the funds will be used.
Kimble is very thankful for the group at the Bath Lion’s Club and to the St. John Anglican Church who hosted and gave the silent auction a venue. A Thank you is also being extended to the Pickleball Committee who worked for months on this tournament.
A big thankyou is also being extended to the community, and all who attended and helped support the Alzheimer Society.
