Since Public Health’s last COVID-19 report on Monday, May 2, the KFL&A region has seen one new death due to COVID-19, marking the 50th death due to COVID-19 in the region.
Today’s update shows there are now 12 local cases in hospital, with three in the ICU and one on a ventilator.
Public Health also reported 252 new high risk cases of COVID-19 since their last report, bringing the number of high risk cases to 637.
KFL&A Public Health’s Outbreak tab identifies two active outbreak at the John M. Parrot Centre. One was declared April 19th, the other on the 30th of April.
As of this afternoon, 92.9% of individuals 5 and over in KFL&A have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. 89.4% have received their second. 69.2% of those 18 and over have received a three doses.
