Over $50,000 was handed out to local businesses by the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, to support local businesses during the pandemic.
Businesses in Greater Napanee, Belleville, Brighton, Quinte West and the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte were able to apply under seven different categories including website enhancement, paid digital advertising, and product or experience development.
Locally, Empey Estates Wedding & Event Venue in Napanee received a grant and will be taking on new marketing to attract out of town groups.
Another round of grants will be opening later in 2022.
