A 21-year-old from Brampton is facing multiple charges after being caught going 170 km/h on Highway 401 in the Kingston area.
Frontenac OPP initially charged the driver with operating a motor vehicle while performing a stunt – speeding, then as a result of the traffic stop, the driver was also charged with Drive motor vehicle – Fail to display two plates and Fail to have insurance card.
The accused had their license suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for 2 weeks.
The accused was issued a summons and will appear in count in Kingston in June.
