Funds are continuing to be raised for an Amherstview man who was sent to hospital in critical condition following a fatal crash in West Texas.
20-year-old Hayden Underhill, a member of the University of Southwest’s golf team, was travelling with teammates returning from a tournament, when a pickup truck collided with the van.
On a Go Fund Me page, created to help his family, an update was recently provided by his family, who say he is slowly improving day by day.
In an update provided March 23, they said Hayden’s care has been moved from the Trauma Intensive Care Unit to a Neurological Treatment floor where they continue to monitor his injury in Lubbock, TX. “He is alert, oriented and able to follow all commands. We want to thank everyone for their continued and unbelievable support, messages, and well wishes.” read the update from the Underhill family.
As of this morning, over $108,000 had been raised.
