Funds are being raised for an Amherstview man who was sent to hospital in critical condition following a fatal crash in West Texas.
20-year-old Hayden Underhill, who is a member of the University of Southwest’s gold team, was travelling in a van with teammates returning from a tournament, when a pickup truck collided with the can.
The collision claimed the lives of the driver and passenger of the truck, as well as six members of the men’s and women’s gold teams and a head coach.
Underhill and Dayton Price of Mississauga, survived the crash.
A Go Fund Me page has been created to help his family as they travel to be with him, and to help cover medical bills.
As of Thursday evening, over $70,000 had been raised. For more information or to make a donation, you can visit the Go Fund Me here.
