A winter weather travel advisory is in place for the day for Greater Napanee and the surrounding area. Heavy snow and blowing snow is expected through the day with around 15 centimeters of accumulation. Environment Canada officials say the snow could last through this evening. Due to the poor weather conditions all school buses in the Tri-Board region have been canceled for the day but schools will remain open.
