The Town of Greater Napanee will be hosting a public meeting regarding the proposed Tomlinson permanent asphalt plant located immediately south of the active quarry site located at 8243 County Road 2. The meeting will be held February 24, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to visit Lets Talk Greater Napanee to stay engaged and up to date on the proposed asphalt plant.
On the platform, residents will have the opportunity to submit their questions regarding Tomlinson’s proposal of a permanent asphalt plant prior to the Town’s public meeting. Questions/comments submitted through Let’s Talk Greater Napanee will be addressed by Town staff either directly through our engagement platform, or during the virtual public meeting. Any questions/comments submitted prior to the Town’s information sessions must be received through Let’s Talk Greater Napanee by February 16, 2022, at 4:30 p.m.
On Lets Talk Greater Napanee, residents will have access to important documents and submitted reports and studies regarding the proposed asphalt plant. As well, residents will have the opportunity to register to attend the Town’s public meeting.
Registration is open until February 23, 2022, at 4:30 p.m.

When: Thursday, February 24, 2022, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Where: Virtually via Zoom. This meeting will also be live streamed via the Town’s YouTube channel for those just wishing to watch and not register to attend. What to Expect: Town staff will be presenting a presentation on the background and status of the proposed Tomlinson asphalt plant. Questions/comments submitted prior to this meeting on Let’s Talk Greater Napanee may be addressed prior to the meeting. Any unanswered questions will be addressed at the public meeting, if possible, after the staff presentation. Residents in attendance at this online meeting will then have an opportunity to ask additional questions or provide feedback to staff for comments to Council.
