The Ontario Provincial Police have closed Highway 7 from Highway 41 to Perth due to inclement weather.
myFM spoke with Lennox and Addington OPP Community Safety Officer, Constable Shannon Cork.
Cork says they currently have no issues on the 401, but there were issues earlier in the day.
The OPP are encouraging that if you’re out driving and get stuck, to stay in your vehicle.
Cork says you can call their non-emergency number at 1-888-310-1122 to let them know you are stuck, and to give a detailed description of where you are.
