A special weather statement and wind warning have been issued for Greater Napanee and the Surrounding area from Environment Canada. Heavy rains are expected through the day along with strong winds through Tuesday morning. Up to 25mm of rain is forecasted for the area along with winds between 70 to 90km/h. Weather officials also say localized flooding is a possibility. Due to the weather conditions some school bus transportation has been canceled today.
