A motorcycle ride recently too place from Ottawa to Kingston with 100 of the top Ride for Dad fundraisers from the area.
The ride too place this past Sunday as part of the Lowe’s/RONA Heroes program.
Three local charities are benefitting from this fundraiser including Ride for Dad, Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region, and Verona Christmas for Kids.
Kingston-Quinte Ride co-chair Marion Perry says they were pleased to be able to help out with this important ride and the Heroes fundraiser.
Starting Sept. 1, the company’s Heroes campaign is to collect donations from customers at more than 310 Lowe’s, Rona and Reno-Depot stores and distribution centers.
Lowe’s Canada is to match 50 per cent of the money raised, up to $2,000 per store.
