Environment Canada has issued a special air quality statement for Greater Napanee and the surrounding area, due to smoke from the forest fires in Northwestern Ontario, which will be heading our way and could be around for a couple of days.
Individuals such as seniors, children and those with cardiovascular or lung disease are at high risk. If you or those in your care are exposed to wildfire smoke, consider taking extra precautions to reduce your exposure.
