Lennox and Addington OPP have laid charges after responding to a report of a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner in Greater Napanee.
In the early morning hours of July 11 police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop just east of Palace Road on County road 2 where they determined that the driver was showing signs of impairment
The 62-year-old driver from Loyalist Township has been charged with Operation While Impaired and Operating a motor vehicle while over legal blood alcohol limit.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Court in Greater Napanee on August 3. The accused’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
