In case you missed it, the Province made changes to the stunt driving laws on July 1st.
OPP Inspector Krista Miller says motorists who are clocked at going at least 50 kilometres an hour over the posted speed limit will be facing stiffer penalties.
Miller says police are on pace to equal or surpass the number of stunt driving charges last year.
She says while excessive speed is the most common definition of stunt driving, the law covers a wide range of dangerous activities like doing donuts or burning out tires on roads.
