Hastings – Lennox and Addington MP Derek Sloan has announced his intention to again offer his name as the official Candidate of Record in
H-L&A for the upcoming 44th General Election.
“I will continue to stand for all constituents in Hastings-Lennox & Addington, while fighting for our essential freedoms,” wrote Sloan in his letter of intent. “I thank those who have continued to support me throughout my time as Member of Parliament for Hastings-Lennox & Addington and I look forward to continuing to serve you all strongly in this role moving forward.”
myFM spoke with Sloan, and asked for some main issues that candidates will need to address in the next election.
Sloan went on to say a second would be either defending or critiquing the federal government’s responses to other things.
Sloan joins Liberal candidate Mike Bossio and Conservative nominee Shelby Kramp-Neuman on the ballot for H-L&A in the next federal election.
