The town of Greater Napanee has some very exciting news they’d like to share.
Town council voted Tuesday to join the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, effective April 1 under a three-year memorandum of understanding.
“We’re excited to see a targeted approach and partnership for promoting Greater Napanee’s rich heritage, unique shopping and dining experiences, agricultural operations large and small, and a vibrant community located in the heart of rural-esque landscape, while being accessible to urban amenities,” says Mayor Marg Isbester. “Great for visiting, living, working and enjoying here with our partners in Eastern Ontario.”
BOQRMB board chair Al Dewitt of Quinte West said Napanee would be a “terrific” addition the partnership.
“It bookends the Bay of Quinte, with Brighton to the west, and Quinte West, Belleville and the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte down the middle,” he stated. “Simply put, it’s going to strengthen this regional partnership because we’ve got an even stronger offering.”
You’re able to learn more about this partnership in the BoQ RMB’s media release.
