The OPP has seized a quanity of drugs, ammunition and items associated with drug trafficking in Greater Napanee. On Tuesday, members of the Street Crime Unit, assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a search warrant at an apartment on Dundas Street East in Napanee. Two people were also arrested in a vehicle in the area. Police seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, crystal methamphetamine, purple fentanyl, ammunition, Canadian currency, cell phones and other items associated with drug trafficking.
51 year-old, Michael Gordon, of Greater Napanee has been charged with:
-Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
-Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order
44 year-old, Michelle Gordon, of Greater Napanee has been charged with:
-two counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
These accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Court at the end of July.
64 year-old, Arie Vermeer, of Central Frontenac Township has been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking. The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Court in August.
