Motorists can expect delays in Kingston following another train derailment. Kingston Police have closed Bath Road between Armstrong Road and Queen Mary Road. Additionally, for preferred traffic flow, barricades will be put in place at Centennial Drive and Portsmouth Avenue. Police say at this time it does not appear that there is any risk to the public, as there is no indication of damage to cargo or spillage of product.
People are asked to avoid this area until updates are announced regarding the opening of Bath Road. Police don’t know how long the closure will last, but they expect it will be lengthy.
