Joyceville Institution is currently under lockdown. The lockdown was put in place on Wednesday at the Assessment unit at the Institution to resolve a workplace health and safety issue. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is working to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
Normal operations will resume as soon as it is considered safe to do so. Visits have been suspended at this time.
