A new board of directors has been elected to the Napanee and District Chamber of Commerce. Last night approximately 40 people attended the Annual General Meeting. Guest speaker, Peter Veltheer spoke about the history of the chamber in this region, as he was one of the founding members. Following his speech, a motion was passed, to dissolve the resolution completely, that the previous board had put forward regarding ceasing operations and to continue full operations moving forward.
Max Kaiser, Deputy Mayor for Greater Napanee says the town is happy to see that the chamber will continue.
Ken Shurtliffe says he is excited about the new board.
