Belleville Police have identified the woman involved in last weeks fatal snowmobile accident as 39 year old, Rebecca Daynard of Ameliasburg Ontario. The crash occurred on January 18th at around 7:25 p.m when the victim lost control of her sled after entering the Belleville side of the Norris Whitney Bridge. Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen the snowmobile prior to the crash travelling northbound along Highway 62 in Prince Edward County on January 18th, or who may have dashcam-footage that could help the investigation.
