A theft in the county has resulted in roughly $15,000 worth of tools being taken from a job site. Prince Edward County OPP were called to investigate a theft on Thursday, January 2. In a news release OPP say that the theft is believed to have occured between December 27 and 31, 2019 in Hillier Ward. It is believed thirteen pieces of equipment were stolen, including nail guns, a sawzall and a hammer drill. Investigators say they are actively looking for information that may lead to a suspect or suspect(s) in this case. Anyone with information is requested to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
