The Low Water Condition in the Moira, Napanee, and Salmon River Watersheds has been pushed higher to Level 2. Watershed Monitoring co-ordinator Lynette Lambert says many wells within the watershed have groundwater levels that are below normal for this time of year:
Residents and businesses in the region are asked to reduce non-essential water usage. This includes the outside watering of plants and lawns, vehicle washing and the washing driveways and sidewalks.
