A 24-year-old Belleville man is charged with uttering threats after an altercation with his neighbour. At about 6:00 Tuesday evening Belleville Police were called to a Station Street building where one man had threatened to stab another and damage his vehicle.

Lots of construction going on this time of year including repaving Highway 401 between Kingston and Napanee. The Ontario government is also widening the 401 in Kingston and repairing the bridge at Montreal Street. High 62 north of Belleville is getting an expansion.

A couple of charges laid after a weekend RIDE program in Belleville. Not long after officers set up a RIDE check on North Front Street early Monday morning they stopped a 26-year-old Centre Hastings woman. She was arrested and charged with impaired driving.
