Prince Edward County OPP are asking potential victims to come forward after arresting a Loyalist Township man in connection with several recent break-ins.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and person on Whattams Road shortly before 3 p.m. on August 1. The caller believed property inside the vehicle was linked to an earlier theft.
Officers arrested the suspect without incident and recovered several items believed to be stolen, including power tools and other property. Investigators later linked the accused to multiple break and enter incidents in the area.
Darren Gray, 31, of Loyalist Township, is charged with three counts of break and enter a dwelling, three counts of mischief under $5,000, possession of break-in instruments and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Police believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone who has experienced a recent break-in or theft to contact the Prince Edward County OPP.
