Divine Hair Studio and Boutique is celebrating 15 years in downtown Napanee, marking years of growth and community support.
Owner Michelle Edgar purchased the salon after turning down an opportunity to relocate to Toronto. Since then, the business has expanded to include a boutique and a team of 13 employees.

The salon has eight full-time stylists offering services such as haircuts, colour, blowouts and hair treatments. Divine is also a Redken Platinum Salon, using premium hair colour products.
The boutique offers clothing, candles, home decor and gifts, with a focus on Canadian-made products.
Edgar said the goal is to give customers more options close to home.
The business’s success has also been shaped by support from local residents and fellow downtown business owners.
Edgar described the downtown business community as a family, adding that she values the connections she has built over the past 15 years.
